Wound Care Clinical Experience Program

The wound care clinical experience program is designed to provide attendees with insight from leading wound care centers. It consist of 1 day workshops held throughout the year. The program is conducted at nationally recognized Wound Care Centers with long-term experience in wound care and the use of Apligraf. These centers have focused on evidence and outcomes-based wound management to successfully differentiate their practices. The program mixes lecture, discussion and clinical format. In addition to the physician oriented programs, we offer similar programs designed for nurses.

Programs are currently being held for physicians at the following locations:

  • Wound Healing Center at Doctors Hospital, Augusta, GA;
  • Foot and Ankle Specialist at Boston Medical Center, Boston, MA
  • Georgetown University Hospital Center for Wound Healing, Washington DC
  • The Wound Care Clinic at O'Connor Hospital, San Jose, CA
  • Morton Plant Mease Health Care Hyperbaric/Wound Care Clinic, Tampa, FL
  • The TX Diabetes Institute at UT Health Science Center, San Antonio, TX
  • The Institute for Advanced Wound Care, Montgomery, AL

Educational Programs for Nurses are currently being held at:

  • Winchester Hospital Wound healing Center, Medford, MA
  • The Center for Advanced Wound Care, Reading, PA

The programs are geared toward experienced clinicians with prior use of bi-layered cell therapy. Due to the specialized nature of the workshop, size is limited to 4-5 attendees.
